Legislative Wrap-Up Workshop – An Insider’s Perspective

This one-day workshop will focus on the outcome of the major city-related bills from the 87th Legislative Session. Hear about the deals reached, the measures that fell short, and the impact this legislation will have on cities. TML staff will brief you on key legislation, and explain what cities need to know to prepare for the laws’ enactment.

Registration is $175 online or by mail. The registration fee includes morning coffee, a boxed lunch, refreshment breaks, and access to handouts. Due to limited seating, this workshop is open to registered city officials and staff only and not guests. If special circumstances require you to bring a guest to attend the workshop, please contact us at tmllegis@tml.org to discuss space availability and pricing. Please note this workshop fee was not included in the registration fee for the webinar series. This is a separate registration fee.

Hotel Information
The workshop will be held at the Hilton Austin, located at 500 East 4th Street in Austin. The hotel has extended a room rate of $159 for Sunday, June 20. To receive this special rate, your reservation must be made by May 18. Cancellation and Substitution Policy
If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 cancellation fee will be assessed if written cancellation is emailed to acct@tml.org by June 7. No refunds will be honored after June 7, and no telephone cancellations will be accepted.

Confirmations and Name Badges
Confirmations will be emailed if you provide an email address. Name badges will be provided onsite. They will not be mailed prior to the workshop.

Dress Code
The attire is business casual and comfortable. We recommend that you dress in layers for your comfort as meeting room temperatures tend to fluctuate.
